Denton Valley Farms is absolutely beautiful! For anyone that might be hesitant to go because of the $15 per person admission price, I'm here to tell you that it is completely worth it! This place is sprawling and has so many activities to do. Nestled in the hills outside of Clyde, there is something for everyone. We spent about 4 hours there and still didn't do all of the activities, but the kids were worn out!

My family and I enjoyed the free day on Thursday. We enjoyed shopping for pumpkins and buying products from the store. Would be giving this more stars but we stopped to take pictures and this woman started yelling at us. She was white, blonde hair with a big truck. We heard her yelling at other people about taking photos then continued to yell at us as we were leaving she said “you can’t take any photos, it’s not picture day. It’s free admission, you can’t take pictures.” We bought 4 big size pumpkins, meat, jelly and ice cream. If taking pictures are not allowed that should be stated somewhere. I would not have came if I knew I was going to be berated for taking pictures. Was looking forward to coming on a Saturday to do all the fun activities but unfortunately that put a very bad taste in our mouths. Also it’s my husband and I with our newborn child. Not very family friendly in my book.

Took my 10 month old this Fall. Lots of cute pics. So many fun activities!

Ok so we went again for Easter and IT WAS PERFECT! Our 15mo LOVED the Easter Bunny! Egg sort so all the kids leave with a good amount of eggs no matter how many they collected. So littles that only found a few eggs still got a bag at the end. They limit the number of kids to each hunt so littles aren't getting trampled. We loved it!

Denton is usually a great family place, but I found the situationally unaware woman at the haunted forest walk through to be rather disturbing. For some reason, at a Halloween exhibit on farm in Texas, she thought it was a good time to get her pitch in to vote for Harris. She said some thing along the lines of: my husband's been hanging in there for months because he "voted for that crazy man"... and proceeded to talk about the "right way to vote"... "for the nice lady" or some bull. She said all this and more to a kid in front that looked to be about 12. Had he not been frozen at the top of the steps we would've ignored her after the first sentence and moved on. It was dark so I doubt she saw, but she got a lot of eye rolls with her weird demon baby thing on a stick. She also told him how they wanted flesh to eat? Maybe TONE IT DOWN for a kid? It's easily possible to make it scary without the political pitches and gore... Some of the scenes and masks were overly gory as well. Disappointing and not kid friendly overall. Shame, because it's apparent they put a lot of work into it.

Everything else was great for families, but the price for the all inclusive is over $30 this year. If the lines are long and you don't have at least four hours, you won't get to enjoy all that you paid for. BTW it's not very stroller friendly. I saw several parents struggling to push their kiddo around even with a wagon.

There is a lot to do here. They have a simple zipline and 2 playground areas for the kids. 3 different mazes, one being for little kids. A wagon ride, train like ride, paintball shooting (1 cup free with admission), pumpkin patch areas to take photos, concessions to buy different drinks, and 2 kinds of their homemade ice cream, and several yard games and things to play with.

A few other things do cost extra, but there was so much for us to do with our kids. We didn't have time to even think about doing those.

This was a fun place to get away with our kids.

We had a great time! Lots of things to do for the children, the kids enjoyed every moment of it. The produce looks great and was not to expensive. We got quite a lot and didn't pay too much. We will for sure be back when the orange water melon is being harvested and when the grapes are ready to harvest!
