Been to collect an urgent prescription that was supposed to be ready the same day (afternoon after a morning appointment). No confirmation that it was ready that day, went the following day to collect. Told it still isn’t ready to collect. Contacted GP to move prescription as they are closed over a weekend (it is now Friday and closed over the weekend) to then be advised they marked it as ready to collect that morning! Absolutely no organisation in there. It is easier to collect from local pharmacies other than the one directly next to the surgery!

50+ telephone calls over 3 days to book a repeat prescriptions delivery including Insulin - No-one answered the ‘phone once- I have mobility issues as well as several health issues so can’t always get to Pharmacy as it’s a few miles away, also my mobility scooter that I use to get about was awaiting repair. If this branch is still offering deliveries then someone should be available to answer the telephone - it’s beyond frustrating!

Had an emergency appointment at 9.40 .. was given a prescription to hand in as I was told I could get it there and then . As I was to poorly to come back .. was told that I would have to come back for it .. I told him I couldn’t as I was to ILL to come back .. he said there is nothing he could do .. he did tell me he was just going to check if they had it in and when off and came back to tell me there was in .. but I would have to come back .. he said I could go into Wakefield to get it !!!! .. also he told 3 other people they would have to come back.. and a 95 year old man that had BOOKED a few jab was told that they didn’t have the over 65 vaccine in ! His daughter was not happy .. went to the wrenthorpe chemist and got it straight away ! Absolute joke

So so so so rude and u helpful, actually made my problems worse. Was getting an emergency prescription for my mental health which i’ve been passed from pillar to post for the person on the end of the phone to keep cutting me off and being rude saying that how can he deal with peoples prescriptions when people are ringing them. Not what I needed.

What a truly abysmal set up this business is.
Surly, argumentative staff and pharmacists that disappear from the building on a whim, leaving the pharmacy unable to dispense prescriptions to ill people who are obviously in need.
And then instead offering an apology and a solution to their self inflicted problem, the lazy, mealy mouthed staff turn their collective noses up and pass the problem onto the customer/patient.
A complaint is going to both the NHS and Well head office but I obviously expect nothing to come from them.

Well what can I say well pharmacy. Yet again I’m let down by yourselves. I am a newish patient to your pharmacy. I am on blister packs and get my medication delivered. I have tried calling today just to find that you’re not open. Tomorrow I will run out of my medication including morphine patches. Again I will be left in a state because I will not have my antidepressants, nerve tablets or pain management. My pain levels are sky high due to a very rude nurse at the doctors surgery so I didn’t need more stress on top of it.

The whole point of having well pharmacy control my medication is that I will never forget to order my medication and therefore will not go with out. However this past few months I have done with out more times than I’ve had them. I’ve had to chase you up for my meds. Wait longer than I should have needed to. If this is the way the service is to continue please let me know so I can get my medications from somewhere else.

If however as a pharmacy you would like to have a go at doing a better job with my meds I would ask that my meds for each month are delivered as few days before I am actually going to need them.

Hopefully by doing this review I get someone’s attention because all I can say is this is not right. If this is the level of service that I am receiving then many more must be the same.

Please do better for your patients in understanding for how they just about manage on a daily basis

I was meant to pick up my emergency prescription as I changed doctors. I was told I would be text because I had not taken my prescribed medication that day. And no one messaged me and I missed my medication.
