I have been coming to the shop since I was a teenager and I can't believe I didn't write a review sooner. Iove their tortas, they are made with so much love & presented with perfection. The meat is tender and juicy always. My mom also loves them, she says they remind her of ones she had growing up in Mexico. They sell plenty of delicious options as well. Ranging from ice cream, nachos, smoothies etc. If you're ever in Boyle Heights I highly recommend it's definitely a gem & it will forever be my favorite place to grab a torta. Inside you'll find seating and the walls are filled with artwork. Every time I eat inside they have amazing customer service 10/10 will recommend.

I really enjoy visiting this place! The owners are usually always there and make sure that the service is exceptional! Every time I go it’s always a great experience. The chicken tortas are definitely the best with a side of jalapeños! Grab a Half pineapple and half Jamaica flavored water and you are in for a great lunch! Overall it’s definitely worth it and i will be coming back, like i always do!

Los dependientes de esta tienda son muy amables y amistosos con el público. Tienen una variedad grande de raspados, smoothies, nieves y tortas, quesadillas, nachos y esquites, además de las bolsitas de churros y papitas. Tasty tortas and refreshing strawberry mango smoothie! And yes, they serve ice cream, too, and many more I have yet to try! You can call to pre-order and pick up. If you talk to Minerva, tell her I said hello; she will remember me by my usual orders :). Free parking, but Fridays and weekends can be crowded due to Night Market at the Mariachi Plaza, where it's located. Catching the Mariachi band rehearsing or just hanging out is part of the fun. Cozy place to dine in. They accept credit cards with $1 fee per transaction. Unfortunately, they don't deliver.

I had some shaved ice lime and mango mix and it was pretty good. I couldn't finish the whole thing because the syrup started to be too sweet for me towards the bottom of the cup, but for a hot day, it was a cheap, cool desert.

My friend introduced me to this small deli place right outside the Mariachi Plaza Metro station, we drove there to pick up tortas (Mexican traditionals sandwiches), we ordered a total of 4 tortas, by far my favorite was the pork torta, I ordered mine with no beans and no onions, the lady that took our order was so accomadating and had no problem with the special order, my friend ordered his without onions as well, the bread was toasted perfectly to the point that we both ate them approximately 30+ minutes after we picked them up and they were still fresh and not soggy at all when we got back to my place in Los Feliz, all fresh ingredients, nice size all 4 for $20, really small deli with fresh juices and a small menu but definitely worth the drive there.

Never been here for the Ice Cream which, I should try some day but, love coming here for the Torta (Sandwich) specials. Family owned and good customer service.
