Colorado does ice cream well and this place did not disappoint. Dense creamy and perfect. Lots of flavors to choose from. Not just generic standards. Service friendly. Covered outdoor seating. Dude playing music. It was a cool happening spot !!

Friendly staff and great ice cream. They told me the ice cream is from Josh & Johns in Colorado Springs. My goodness was that good.

Wish I had stopped here first instead of the other place in town that wouldn't even take my order. Thank you for great service!

Ooooh this ice cream is super good! They have amazing flavors and the scoops are really big. You can do half scoops of whatever flavors you want which I liked. They seem to have seasonal flavors too which is really nice. The lady who helped us was very friendly and let us taste so many flavors. Definitely the best ice cream spot in Salida. Worth getting the ice cream here, even in the cold!

And the winner is, for dessert, this is the only place to stop. All the workers are in such great spirits and joyous fun. The ice cream is just great tasting they did run out of what I wanted, which is the purple mountain majesty, but I did try the strawberry and the malted mazel toff. What a combination on a waffle cone! The atmosphere and the scenery were just a perfect place to relax and enjoy a great dessert.

We really enjoyed our ice cream, especially the vegan option “Grass Hopper”. Our only issue was with the waffle cones. They were not fresh and tasted a little stale.

The creamiest, most amazing dairy free ice cream I have ever tasted. It’s been a year since I visited and I’m still talking about it! My family loved the regular ice cream as well. Highly recommend for a treat after dinner!

Hard to comment on the ice cream but the shakes were not good - tasted like milk with a hint of flavor. I asked for a mocha Java jolt shake and asked if brownie chunks could mixed in and received a response of “uhhh… sure?” which was off putting. Customer service wasn’t great, prices are very high, shakes are not good

This ice cream blew my mind. SO good. I had a scoop of taro root with truffles and a scoop of moose on the loose. I wish they could deliver to the Chicago area! ?
