Truly an excellent pharmacy. They have a very fast turn around time on filling prescriptions and communicate any issues they run into. The longest line I've ever waited in was 3 people long. The staff really care about what they do. I don't know why it took me so long to switch from a big chain pharmacy to Capitol Heights. I recommend this pharmacy to all my friends in the neighborhood.

Incredible resource for the neighborhood. People may not realize how few independent pharmacies are left. They have a great group of pharmacists that actually care, not the overworked and abused corporate drones you are used to seeing. I get my prescriptions filled here whenever possible and recommend you do the same. They also have extremely reasonably priced generic over the counter medications and a comprehensive vaccine offering. It's so much better than any of the major chains.

There is also a really impressive selection of beer, wine, liquors, and premade cocktails with an emphasis on local/regional and without a ridiculous markup. A true gem.

I love this place. The pharmacy has excellent, personal customer service and conveniently administers vaccines. They have a great selection of booze, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. In a world increasingly overtaken by soulless corporate chains and automated customer interactions, I feel grateful to have access to this neighborhood gem that exemplifies the best qualities of a family-owned small business.

This small neighborhood business is now my pharmacy of choice. Most of the retail space is filled by shelves of wine and liquor, but there is also a small section devoted to over-the-counter meds. Better still, there is a shelf for local Colorado products such as salsa, pickles, and other specialties.

There are two small chairs for pharmacy customers who need to sit while they wait; there is even a play center with toy tools for young children. These furnishings are often, unfortunately, surrounded by unsightly boxes, cartons, and other detritus from deliveries of wine and beer. “A” for effort, there, but “C” for execution.

Nevertheless, the pharmacy is efficient and well-run. The pharmacists are friendly and helpful. I have been very happy with the service I’ve received. Everything that you think you need from a large, franchised pharmacy can be found here.

The employee was extremely unprofessional. She turned down a $40 sale because we did not want to buy a 50 cent mask. Not for nothing if you want to enforce mask, I support that fully. If vaccinated customers come in without a mask you provide them one free. Not try to up charge paying customer who came to support your business.
The manner in which she spoke to us was worst than her lacking up sale.
We do not support businesses that do not support their customers.

This is hands down the best pharmacy I have ever used. The staff is incredibly friendly, patient and helpful. There's really no comparison between the service you get here vs other big name pharmacies in the area. Also it has a full liquor store? Incredible. I cannot recommend this place enough. Shop local my friends.

Capital Heights Pharmacy is the best pharmacy I’ve ever used!! In the past I’ve always used CVS and depending on the area I’ve lived in it was mostly okay. Mostly. I moved to Congress Park a year and a half ago and at first stuck with the CVS in the area just because it was familiar. Well, that location had some issues, so I figured I’d give Capital Heights a try, having heard only great things about their service. I have only ever been blown away by the kindness and care everyone there shows me and my family. I’ve worked a lot with Olive & Jess and they are both just fantastic at what they do! Capital Heights is definitely the place to get your prescriptions if you want to get individualized care with a heart! I can’t recommend there services more highly!

I can’t say enough good things about Capital Heights Pharmacy! Tucked away in the back of a local liquor store, that also carries an array of local products, this pharmacy is a hidden gem. From the moment you walk in, the pharmacy staff treats you like family, always knowing you by name.

What really sets this place apart is their genuine care. They always go above and beyond.And what really resonates with me is their inclusive and non-judgmental atmosphere. They foster a safe environment, which is both refreshing and comforting to see in a healthcare setting.
