I have used this company for years for such items as flea medicine, heartworm medicine, etc. They have always been the least expensive of the pharmacies out there. But I will never use this company again. My dog has congestive heart failure and requires several medications to stay alive. Two of these medications that are quite expensive were ordered from Allivet at a very affordable cost. I allowed several days before he was out knowing there could be a vet delay. When I didn’t get a confirmation shipping email within a couple of days I looked to see what the issue was. I assumed it could’ve been my veterinary office, but it was not. They simply had not shipped the products. This was a Friday. When I called them, they said that there was no one at the facilities over the weekend and the medication would not ship until Monday. I am shocked that these people have the lives of animals in their hands selling medications that are life and death for our loved ones but they do not have any workers over the weekends. This is a retail establishment and they don’t do weekends! now I get a message saying the product just shipped today and will not arrive until Friday. My dog has been without his medication for four days and now will have to wait another three days. Completely unacceptable and they will never get a dime of my business again. I would rather pay full price at my veterinarians office than to make my dog struggle to breathe because of this unprofessional, unethical business.

This company has really competitive prices, but its the customer service that earns it 5 stars. When I moved and shipped my dog's medicines to the wrong address, they were very understanding and even re-shipped the medicine to my new address at no cost. Outstanding customer service, and I will always use Allivet going forward.

Very pleased with the prices and service! I emailed regarding my order because I orders tablets in stead of chewable for my auto ship so I wanted to change it and they responded same day within hours and had it all fixed and set promptly! Very professional and courteous as well!

Have been utilizing their services for a few years now. Pleased with the prices, products & services. We just utilized the phone service to cancel one order (auto-ship) and order two new medications with auto-ship. Could not have been easier. Kevin was great from start to finish. Good prices, but not worth the hassles. They don't let you know if there's an issue, they ceaselessly annoy you to annoy your vet if she doesn't sign Rx's right away, and they screw things up... And don't tell you. So your order just sits there interminably, until you check on it, which is a major issue if you need time based meds like flea and tick or heart worm prevention. No, thanks. I gave second and third chances, and I am done with the incompetence.

Allivet is hands down the most incompetent, frustrating company I’ve ever dealt with. Their customer service is beyond terrible—easily the worst I’ve experienced in my entire life. They charged a card I had already removed from their system, and despite apologizing a ridiculous 5 or 6 times, they have yet to actually resolve the issue. It’s been over a month of constant back-and-forth, empty promises, and complete incompetence. They keep assuring me they’ll charge the correct card and refund the one they wrongfully charged, but nothing has been done.

It’s like dealing with a brick wall—nobody knows what they’re doing, and they clearly couldn’t care less about their customers or fixing their own mistakes. I’ve wasted so much time trying to get this resolved, and it’s clear they are either too lazy or too incompetent to care. At this point, I wouldn’t trust them to handle even the simplest task. I’m reporting them to the Better Business Bureau and advising everyone to avoid Allivet at all costs. Save yourself the headache and find a company that actually knows how to treat its customers!

Allivet does not accurately reflect prices and shipping discounts, they do not update order status for customers, and they are not truthful in their data for why orders are canceled. After having to cancel an insulin order because there was still no updated status after 5 days of our veterinarian immediately approving the order & prescription - and Allivet not being able to tell me when medication would ship, I received an email stating that order was canceled due to not being able to reach me and not having a valid prescription - completely false. We had to place an urgent order from a local pharmacy, which we should have done in the first place had we known that was an option / had our vet not recommended this terrible company.

Allivet doesn't care if they get your pet's medicine to you in a timely manner. They didn't fill a prescription that was on auto refill in a timely manner. I stayed in contact with them with as I had only a ten day supply after their screw up. Every couple days I was checking with them via phone to see if they were able to refill and ship. They always said it will be soon. Eventually when I only had 5 days left I contacted them to see if they could expedite the shipping (at my expense) because they still hadn't shipped the medicine my dog needs. They said no, it was too late in the process. Then they took another 2 days to ship via USPS. My dog will be without medicine for at least two days, which will cause dramatic effects for my dog. Don't trust them, go somewhere else to get your pet meds.
