I am so glad that I left the major corporate pharmacies and came here. It's very relaxed they are very personable and so much faster than the big pharmacies that have huge lines. It's personal service and you know that these guys are not going anywhere and that the company treats them well because they own it. Pharmacists at the big pharmacies are overworked and underpaid. Support local businesses like this it makes our community a much better place!

Fast and easy, sharp employees. This is a REAL pharmacy. You can't get Dr Pepper here, and that's a good thing. Excellent place to go for a COVID vaccine.

I take a lot of prescriptions. This pharmacy is old fashioned, requiring multiple signatures. They also run on paper for anything controlled, requiring you to wait while the person ringing you up fills out a form. It's like how CVS used to be with the white stickers about 20+ years ago. I've also gone to pick up the next day and it's not made yet. I had to wait while it was filled. Signs are posted all over about free delivery. What it doesn't say is that it's one random day per week and they won't deliver controlled drugs. Which means you have to go there anyway. They often do not pick up the phone. You will get a call back, "you called?" Central Pharmacy in Durham is superior in every way and they deliver 5 days a week and deliver any prescription. Unfortunately, I am out of their delivery area now and cannot use them.

I have been going to Durham Pharmacy for the last 5 years and Sree and his folks are the absolute best. And when I tell my doctors I use Durham Pharmacy they are glad to hear that and always compliment/comment on how good they are from a prescriber’s perspective. I have several prescriptions regularly filled and even have my pet’s prescriptions filled there. Their prices are lower than most large retail pharmacies for pet meds. They are communicative, prompt and always so friendly. It’s actually a pleasure to pick up meds rather than a drudgery. I am also not one to post many reviews, so I’m reserving all my praise and 5 stars for Durham Pharmacy. Sadly our family is moving to Charlotte and I do not think I will find another pharmacist as great as Sree.

This is the BEST local pharmacy in the triangle. Polite service, no long waits, low pricing, and they are never out of stock of meds even when pharmacies are. I once was late leaving work and called saying I would pick up my Rx at 5:58pm (they close at 6pm) and Sree was waiting for me with Rx in hand and a smile when I ran through the door. You're not going to get that service at ANY chain pharmacy! Sree and his staff are amazing, friendly and remember their repeat customers. I will never go anywhere else for as long as I live in the area.
Also, the one-star complaining about them writing down your name/address/drivers license info on paper is likely for a controlled substance prescription, which by North Carolina law must be done at every single pharmacy 🙂

I was traveling from another state and needed to transfer my prescription. The pharmacist handled the transfer swiftly and had my medication ready within 10 minutes. Excellent service and friendly staff!

Wonderful place! Tech’s and Pharmacist are very resourceful and informative. Also friendly and willing to explain medication and insurance policies as well. Especially the two younger ladies, Ayasha and Zahria, for always being so welcoming and caring during my monthly trips to the pharmacy!
