Horrible experience. I had my wedding ring re-sized and when I went to pick it up there was an obvious flaw in the design. The older jeweler acted like he couldn’t see the flaw and asked me to find it for him again, even though it was obvious. He then very rudely told me it was as good as it was going to get and demanded I pay up the $130 I owed them. I was shocked at the rude way he treated me. The young woman assisting me reassured me that it was not my fault, wished me luck, and apologized. I am grateful for her kindness. But the old jeweler was awful to me and I will never be back.

I can’t express how much I love Krivanek Jewelers. My mom has lived in Salida for over 13 years. The highlight of my trips to see her are going to see Mark, take him jewelry (usually family stuff) and have him tell us about it. We usually end up selling to him, so we can buy new amazing things. I’ve gotten two absolutely stunning $3k+ Ruby rings that I get compliments on every time. Mom has also gotten many things and is currently having a necklace made. They’re the best. I’ve learned so much from him, and had I been able to do math I wish I would’ve been a Gemologist. I recommend Krivanek to everyone and I am hopeful to have an engagement ring from him as well. I joke to my mom this last trip that I hope he never retires, as I get so excited to see what jewelry and treasures they have. The best!!!

This is probably the best Jeweler I have ever had the pleasure of working with too design a ring for my wife.
The time that he took too get the right Alexandrite stone for her as well as the perfect cut, was absolutely amazing.
I feel very blessed to have found this amazing store in Salida Colorado and the entire staff are wonderful and they all are amazing and bend over backwards to try to make everything that you do a special and seemless time.
They are very professional and honest with everything that they do, I know for a fact that they strive to be the best in this space and they love what they do.
Thank you so much for all your help, time and compassion you have put in the piece for my wife.

The owner and all of the staff are wonderful and friendly people. They helped us design our dream wedding ring with a customized band and local aquamarine stone from Mt. Antero and worked within our budget. I also came back for earrings for our wedding and they took good care of me once again. They stand behind their products and their warranty. When a few small diamonds fell out of my band they replaced them without hesitation. I highly recommend Krivanek Jewelers.

Mark and TJ ARE FANTASTIC! I called to have a ring appraised after a doctor appointment and they had me come in within minutes and had a certified appraisal done within the hour! Everything about the experience was awesome! I bought some cool coins for the Mr while I was in there and got some delicious coffee right next door while I waited! Bring in what you got or want appraised, the service can’t be beat! I’ll definitely be back y’all! ?

Very nice people, but I was disappointed with work that was done. I took in a vintage platinum engagement ring and had the setting changed. So they ordered a new setting to be mounted to hold the new stone. Evidently the wrong one was delivered so it took extra time to get the correct one. Not their fault. When I eventually got to pick iit up, it looked beautiful. When my son gave it to his fiance, she took it to a jeweler in DC to have it sized. Evidently they were several cracks under the newly applied mounting. They had to be filled in. How was a bit surprised as these people came highly recommended.

Wow what an amazing owner! My wife and I went to a sulfur hot spring the night before and my wife’s wedding band turned blue then black. We were in a panic that we ruined her band. We went into the Gemfactory and they were able to fix it right up! Amazing work. If I ever find myself in this area and need jewelry, this is 100% my first stop. Very nice people, beautiful shop, and excellent craftsmanship. 10/10.
