Originally liked OptumRx service but recently I was left 3 weeks without my insulin due to a question OptumRx had for my doctor who OptumRx claimed they could not reach and then they canceled my script. The doctor send another script and the same sequence of events happened resulting in OptumRx canceling that script too!

Finally I had my doctor send my prescription to Walgreen pharmacy and I got my insulin the next day!

Insulin is a critical medication and I cannot believe OptumRx could not fill it especially because I've been on it for two years and OptumRx filled it in past. Their actions have possibly set me back on progress I was achieving with lowering my A1C not to mention basic Diabetes treatment.

I have my prescriptions on non automatic. I have to call in to order certain prescriptions since their automated system doesn’t recognise manufacturers savings cards. This shouldn’t be an issue but it is. I also order as I need them. I called today as instructed before to have new refills taken off of automatic to ensure that they wouldn’t be ordered when they were received from the doctor. 2.5 hours later I received 2 emails stating that the new refills were received and that the order was being processed for them. This is after I spoke to one of the agents and she confirmed that they wouldn’t go to automatic. I had to call back a 2nd time to get the order cancelled. Either she didn’t understand or she didn’t do what she was supposed to do. This happens every time I call in. Either get your system fixed or get your advocates properly trained to do the job they’re paid for. It’s a hassle every time I do this.

Absolutely horrendous service!! Constantly overcharging for medications!! I’ve even told them to remove my credit cards multiple times and they didn’t. Call in each prescription that has a copay card and they STILL bill incorrectly by THOUSANDS of dollars l. Absolutely disgraceful and honestly I don’t understand. It’s costing them tons of money paying people to re-do their screw up plus losing thousands on send out the wrong Perscriptions’s. I would absolutely never ? recommend this company to anyone. I don’t like giving bad reviews but they have wasted so many hours of my time it’s well deserved.

Wish I could give these people zero Stars. They are so incompetent and have no right filling out scripts for people's health. I've spent over six and a half hours on the phone with these people and at no point were they ever able to do their job effectively. Of course I'm stuck dealing with these people until the end of the year which is like heading into a long horror story that won't stop. Their managers are rude and make sure that you know they don't want to be on the phone call in the first place instead of handling the issue nor are they competent and even understanding what happened and how to move forward. If you have any way to avoid having to coordinate with these people avoid at all costs. Wish I could.

The agent's accent was impossible to understand and the connection was awful. I had to ask several times for her name - which took several minutes as I kept repeating that I could not understand her. Then she put me on hold for a "specialist" - I have been waiting and waiting while writing this, but am still on hold.......................now she informs me she is unable to contact a "specialist". I give up.

Wish I had an option but this is what my employer provides probably most cost effective (cheap). I have a terminal illness and every time I try to get necessary prescription it’s always delayed for insurance reasons. Imagine being sick to your stomach, can barely walk, rushed to the hospital all for the hospital to give you the medication this pharmacy delays everytime you trdys to pick k up. Smh

They just love to practice medicine without a license.

My 10-year-old excellent treatment plan was questioned at every turn when I was forced to switch to their pharmacy. They have repeatedly canceled my prescriptions because they have an inane question for the prescriber. They have contacted doctors across the country entirely unrelated to me about my private medical information because of their incompetency (i.e. a doctor with a similar name to mine but an entirely different specialty in a faraway state). They have swapped prescription instructions amongst my medications, completely altering the amount of medication dispensed. I can see what my doctor sends over, and I can see what optum puts in their portal. The fault lies with optum every time.

I hope no one associated with the existence and functioning of this company ever receives their extremely important medication in a timely manner, because I sure as hell didn’t.

Terrible pharmacy and by far, the worst I have ever dealt with. Significant delays, terrible customer service, refusal to fill scripts, and more.
Since an insurance switch to OptumRx in Jan, I have had to have my Drs send additional perscriptions to other pharmacies and pay out of pocket for almost all of my medication. Almost all of my orders are canceled with no information, forcing me to call and talk to someone who has no idea why they were canceled and has me put them back in for them to be cancelled again. I get spammed by their robo caller about my prescriptions multiple times a day only to give it my information and it to tell me that I need to call them. The list goes on......
