Attended the pharmacy with some gingivitis. Disagree with the comments below. The staff and Jen were very helpful able to use policies in place to get me some ibuprofen and mouthwash through Pharmacy first.
There was very little delay compared to some other pharmacies. Important to remember they are pharmacists and not doctors. They have guidelines to follow and issues with long standing problems are a GPs problem not a pharmacy. Fantastic team!

I had a prescription that was very difficult to fill and I went to Right Medicine pharmacy to have it filled. After taking it to the pharmacy, I received a call from my psychiatrist informing me that I would need a new prescription but because of the rarity of the drug, we would be gambling with my ability to fill my prescription. Jen, the head pharmacist, not only worked with me to strategise the best way to structure my prescription so that it could be filled, but she held onto the last box of the medication I needed for me until I could get my prescription corrected. She was incredibly kind, as are all the staff, and made me feel incredibly supported in a situation which would typically create uncertainty and frustration. I always go to their pharmacy first as I know I will receive amazing help, support, and kindness. I can’t recommend this pharmacy enough!

The lady works there I don’t know her name.. Her behaviour is so rude. Today I went there to make sure whether they dispensing my medication as my prescription ran out and while talk to the GP, the receptionist of GP called the Pharmacist and talked. Receptionist advised me that, they are sending the prescription to the Royal mile pharmacy by permission of doctor and I don’t need to see doctor as it is my regular meds. After that I go to the pharmacy and asked them whether I can get the medication today or I need to come tomorrow. One of Indian/Pakistani lady took my name and details and ask to the Chinese/Phillippina lady guy. She says "there is no medication for you in our system." I replied "can you ask your pharmacist, she may know as the GP contact her just 10 mn ago. I just need to know whether I can pick them up today or I need to come back tomorrow."

But the lady replied me again the same sentence "there is no medication for you".

When I asked her again by explaining that "I know my prescription ran out. But now 10 mn ago gp updated your pharmacist. I requested to check with the pharmacist as she had call and may know when it’s gonna be ready. If it’s not possible today then I would go my house and come back tomorrow." but the lady got rude on me. She literally shouted on me like insulting me. She said "this is the thing my colleague explained(although her colleague just took my details) you that, we don't have any medication for you. You need to go to the GP, not here. We can't do it anything from here. If you don’t understand this then making you understand isn't my job. Go to the GP, and they will get your prescription!!.............bla bla......"

I was literally speechless!! What to do! I just come from the GP and the GP advised me to come here! Then I said - "Okay I'll go to the GP."
And then I left the pharmacy.

Absolutely lovely pharmacy with such nice helpful staff. I had come on holiday and left some medication I needed at home in Wales. The staff were amazing and were able to provide me with an emergency prescription - they rang my normal pharmacy and nothing was too much trouble for them. The pharmacist also gave me some tips on where to visit. I also feel I should respond to some of the negative reviews on here. I was there quite early in the morning and yes, the pharmacy serves a wide variety of people, and the staff were helpful and respectful to everyone. Health needs can be different and varied, but everyone should be able to have equal access without judgment. But again a big thankyou to the professional and kind staff who work here-I was worried when I realised I did not have my medication, but it was sorted so swiftly ?

This is great place with so much history - and the staff are always so friendly and helpful. I have gone in often for items from time to time as it is close to my hotel. Visiting this pharmacy is on my "must do" list each time I am in Edinburgh!

Went in for a burn just to get a spray the older lady served everyone before me even though I was in the queue before anyone people were even still shopping and got served before me only way to take it racism a coloured man In between and didn’t even get served slammed the door and left
