The fall festival at Southern Hill Farms is a fantastic place to visit as the cooler season approaches! I was able to do so much here. There is a market that sells jams, scrubs, candles, and so much more! This place had a pumpkin patch, u-pick sunflowers, a smores station, live music, multiple food trucks, a petting zoo, a rock climbing wall, a tractor train, and numerous other activities. It was a great way to welcome in the cold front weather. I loved the apple cider donut and the blueberry lemonade. Most of all, I loved walking through the sunflower field and choosing sunflowers to bring home which were $2/flower.

Great family fun, even though busy, it was not so full that it was unpleasant. In fact it was wonderful, good food, (beer…lol), music and a breeze… great way to spend a few hours with people you love.

My granddaughter and I went opening day. We had a great time even in the rain. It’s clean with clean bathrooms. Paths have pavers. Rides for the kids, love love love the sunflower patch and the zinnias.
Wide variety of foods to choose from. The apple cider donuts were fabulous. We had a great time.

My family and I had so much fun picking peaches at SHF. We came on a Saturday morning and the crowd was not as bad as I expected. We got some delicious peaches and fresh veggies, including corn which my family really liked. The blueberry lemonade is THE BEST I’ve ever tasted and I can’t wait to go back again. If you buy the mason jar for $10 you can refill it for $5 which is a great deal. The sunflowers were so beautiful and huge! There are some great food options so bring your appetite, sunscreen and walking shoes.

5/5 - Southern Hill Farms: A Fall Wonderland!

My husband and I have visited Southern Hill Farms twice now, and we’re completely hooked! This place has everything you need to feel that cozy fall spirit, reminding us so much of Midwest cider mills, especially with their amazing cider doughnuts and fresh apple cider.

Right from the start, the experience is smooth. Parking is free, and staff guide you through a grassy lot so there's no confusion. Be sure to grab your tickets online ahead of time, as they do timed entry to manage the crowds. Once you’re in, the fun really begins!

The festival offers so much to do—and it’s all included in your ticket. The giant slides are an absolute blast (you slide down in a sack!), and there’s rock climbing, hayrides through the farm, and even a corn maze that’s perfect for hours of exploring. The hayride is both fun and informative, with the guide sharing insights about the crops they grow.

One of our favorite spots is the flower field, where you can pick bright, beautiful sunflowers, and it’s also the perfect place for some Instagram-worthy photos. The pumpkin patch is right nearby, and you can pick out mini pumpkins for decoration or larger ones to carve. They even sell cute little lights and knick-knacks for your pumpkins! Plus, most vendors accept credit cards, so everything is super convenient.

And if you’re feeling competitive, you’ll love the carnival-style sports games. There’s all-you-can-play basketball, baseball, football, and soccer games that add an extra layer of fun to the experience.

The gift shop is another must-visit. On our last trip, I snagged some delicious pumpkin spice tea and unique hot sauces. There’s a great mix of local products and fun seasonal items, perfect for gifts or just a little treat for yourself.

For families, there’s plenty of kid-friendly rides, like a spinning one that we tried ourselves (it’s fun, but be prepared to get a little dizzy!). The selection of food trucks is fantastic, offering something for everyone, and live music sets a festive tone as you wander around. There are also lots of picnic tables to relax at, and even though it gets busy, the outdoor bathrooms are well-maintained.

Southern Hill Farms is truly the perfect fall outing—whether you’re there for the pumpkin picking, games, or just the amazing atmosphere. We can’t wait to go back next year!

First time coming to the sunset event and loved every second of it, is definitely worth it.
Not many people weather was nice the girls had a great time, this is one the best farm in Central Florida. I go every year for their fall festival!

It was really hot the I went, everything is a long wait even the bathroom. The pizza wasn’t tasty, I had the blueberry lemonade slushy it was okay and I did enjoy the pumpkin cookie. I was so excited to come but the vibe was not what I excepted. My favorite part was taking the beautiful sunflowers home. Not much to do for adults.

I want to love this place. I have been going here for years but in the most recent years the staff has become not so friendly and untrusting. I am not sure if they are having serious theft problems but they tend to treat all customers like they are going to steal from them. Even when they are over paying for the products without complaining. Each time I go, I spend close to $100 to pick fruit & flowers and I leave feeling disappointed by the way I am treated by staff. They have put fencing up around the flower fields so people cannot get close to take pictures unless they pay to enter. If you pick fruit or vegetables or flowers you need to pay for each before you can go to the next section. In order to do this you have to walk back and forth across the grounds which is extremely cumbersome especially in the hot weather.
The farm is beautiful and the owners are not having any problems filling their lots with visitors. I can only hope that they find a better solution to making their guests feel more welcome and appreciated. Why not just charge a standard fee to enter? Make the points of sale near the check ins to pick each item?
