Booked the Whimsical Farmstay with my 3 year old and wife. Wasn't sure what to expect since this was our first Farmstay. We came with some groceries from home. The stay was stocked with all the essentials for cooking and baking. Bathroom was stocked with clean white towels. The room felt nice and clean. The hot tub was amazing. It stayed on and would warm up when the temperature got below a certain level.

We booked the ice cream making lesson with Dawn the owner. She was great. Very nice lady. She made our experience much more enjoyable. I definitely suggest taking a class with her. We loved the animals. We hiked down to the chicken nests and grabbed us fresh eggs and hiked back up to our stay and made breakfast sandwiches and they were to die for!!

The peacocks loved greeting us in the mornings when we opened the door. The goats and alpacas were just as friendly.

We also went across her farm to have a horse lesson with Robin! Which was also great.

Honestly this experience was fun. My toddler enjoyed it. My wife enjoyed it.

Note* do not bring clothes/shoes you don't want dirty. Seeing as though this is basically on a mountain and there is alot of sand/dust.

My suggestion is come here with your loved one to disconnect away from the rest of the world. That's what this is perfect for.

Thank you Dawn. Hope to come back soon!

We had the most awesome staycation! The owner, unfortunately, I did not get her neme was in full attendance. Our cabin was fully stocked, and her cheese class was awesome. The Peacocks were in full bloom. You have to check this place out! It is peaceful, quiet, and refreshing. You have your own full stocked kitchen, appliances; bring groceries. The chickens lay eggs, coffe, and pot.provided with cream and sugar. Personal 2-4 person hot tub. Friendly goats, rabbit, and alpacas. You can use your Netflix and other streaming but we just chilled and enjoyed the night noises.

We had a horrible experience at Morning Song Farm at their "Safari tent" and the woman who runs it is even the most deceitful, horrible, dishonest woman on the face of earth.
STAY AWAY FROM MORNING SONG FARM

If you think you will have a great stay amongst the farm animals, forget it. Animals are in poor dingy area, in bad health, especially Alpacas.

Safari tent we are not even sure how this place is approved by Health & Safety standards. It has nails poking out so if you have a family, do not book this place. She deceived us and moved us from our initial booking of Romantic Farm stay to Safari Tent saying she was giving us an upgrade and when we arrived and looked at the dingy state of that place with rusty chairs and tables which btw are the only tables and chairs in teh entire place to sit so you may get tetanus from them "STAY AWAY" and Beware . We booked it for three nights and we only spent an hour there . It was so bad. Do not be fooled by the fake reviews posted.

Also, the woman who runs this place is a greedy woman called Dawn who said she would give us a refund and will cancel our booking and instead she didn't cancel it and decided to keep our money even though she ruined our stay and our memorial day weekend .

All in all I would give it zero stars and would recommend not staying here ever. "BEWARE OF THE FAKE REVIEWS" There are far better options for the price nearby

PROS: This is an excellent location if you want to get away from it all; it's secluded--you only see a few neighboring guests walking around. We stayed in the Mountain House unit and it had a nice view of the hills. We enjoyed having a private hot tub though it was not hot enough until about five hours after check-in. The room was tastefully decorated and thoughtfully stocked with ample kitchenware plus movies and games. The bed was excellent. The location is quiet, just with the sound and feel of the wind rushing through this small house perched on a steep hill. We enjoyed being about to see the farm's chickens, goats, alpacas, and peacocks. The host, Dawn, was kind and responsive.

CONS: There were not activities nearby that interested us (it's a wine-tasting area) and it was a long drive to get groceries (bring your own with you). It was too far to the beach at about 40 minutes each way. The drive in and out is curvy, steep, and sometimes single-lane. Backing out of a dirt space with a steep nearby drop-off was nerve-wracking and not something I would want to do in the dark. The price was high.

Our family had an amazing experience here! Our two children (8 and 5) loved feeding and interacting with all of the animals on the property. We did several food classes during our stay: cheesemaking, jam making and ice cream making. Incredible! Not only did we come away with some delicious food and new skills, but we learned so much from the family and staff about the farm. We cannot wait to come back!

Just got back from a two day stay at Morning Song. We have two boys 8 and 11 and we all loved it. We stayed in a bungalow that was plenty big enough for the 4 of us. We had a chicken coop in the back yard that had some hens and roosters. They were all very friendly. We had fresh eggs each morning.

The farm also has some friendly goats up the hill from the bungalow and Alpacas down the hill, both within easy walking distance.

We also did the cheese making class, which was super fun. The owner of the property came to the bungalow and showed us how to make a few different cheeses. She also shared the recipes with us to take home.

Temecula and the wineries are only about 20 minutes away as well.

We will be back in the future. The kids didn't want to leave.

What an awesome weekend! We stayed in the two bedroom bungalow which was much bigger than I expected. Pictures online don’t do this place justice. Full kitchen and living room. There’s a chicken coop in the back that is private to that bungalow and we went and got fresh eggs each morning. The view is unbeatable! We took a cheese making class and an ice cream making class and both were so fun and informative! We made ricotta, cottage cheese, butter, and queso fresco. For the ice cream making we used an old fashion Amish churner and it yielded about five pints! There’s goats, alpacas and chickens to visit and feed as well as very friendly peacocks that roam freely. Don the owner is so kind and accommodating. I can’t wait to come back!
